My cowboy boots feature a rigid shank, stable heel, flexible forefoot and are individually fit to accommodate your instep, calf and the shape of your foot. They are completely handcrafted. Enveloped by quality, breathable leather, your foot will be flattered by the tailored lines of a custom made dress boot.
Since custom boots are handmade to fit you, nine accurate measurements and imprints of both feet are required. This information is used to shape the lasts, the forms which replicate your feet and upon which your boots will be built. During the initial meeting, customer choices of leather and design are discussed. Studio visits are welcomed by appointment. I am located in Paonia, a small town in Western Colorado. Occasional trips take me to Denver, Aspen, Vail and other locations. A complete fitting kit through the mail is an alternative.
Custom boots can range from a straight forward with minimal decoration to highly ornamented or personalized designs. Variables that affect boot price include leather choices, type of stitching, inlays, initials, collars, top height, protective soles, wrinkles and toe flower. Prices start at $1250.
