I began making custom boots in  late the  90’s.  My training took me to shops in four states, but ended in southeastern Colorado where I  had the good fortune to work with master  bootmaker Edwin Martin. The patterns and methods I use have  historical  roots in the  old  Amarillo style, from which the Martin family tradition of bootmaking originated.

Designing and making custom cowboyboots integrates my college studies in anatomy, a theatre  arts degree in costume design, nine years of work as  a certified massage therapist and my desire to  create functional, beautiful and enduring craft.
